Xbox 360 gamers currently taking the fight to the Locust Horde in Gears of War 2 can breath a sigh of relief today, as Epic Games confirmed that a fresh patch will be released before the end of January.

After all of the debates last year about which console ‘is the best’, Microsoft has just revealed that sales for the Xbox 360 during the Christmas 2008 period, were almost double those of Christmas 2007 in Europe.

The Xbox 360 may soon become RPG haven with another action RPG descending upon the console. A newly launched studio titled “Xavaint” had posted these bunch of job openings on Gamasutra, detailing an action adventure RPG game specifically for the Xbox 360.

As I was reading one of George Kelion’s posts which by the way is a Rare employee, I found out about Banjo-Fourie being in very early development. Could this be true or am i just seeing things, is Rare really developing a new Banjo Kazooie series.

If you were playing campaign would you go through every room just shooting everything without taking any cover? (If it's not on easy haha) Cover is there for a reason, to protect you from bullets! The next time you see your deaths racking up, the next time you die ask yourself if you died in an open field or behind a wall.

Microsoft said today that Xbox 360 sales have topped 28 million since the game console launched in 2005, allowing it to claim a solid second-place position in the game industry.
The Redmond, Wash.-based software company also said its Xbox Live player community has now grown to more than 17 million active members, up from 14 million before the holidays.

At the end of each year, everyone first reflects and than looks forward to the year ahead. Unfortunately, this results in video game insanity, as a whole lot of "news" gets misinterpreted as fact and the Internet explodes in ridiculous "reports."

I’ve been playing Fifa 2009 online against other players. There seems to be a ‘leaderboard’ where you can check how much you progress. Though, it’s all very unclear and EA doesn’t have a reasonable explanation. So I’ve done some research and here’s the result:

While the fact our Portable Drum Kit from Mad Catz was defective was a disappointment, as the product looked great other than the fact it didn't work, we did find a diamond amidst all that coal.

The revelation that Tekken 6 is coming out on the Xbox 360 console is great news for Tekken fans! Namco has just confirmed that it will be releasing it in Q4 2009.

On February 17th, Rockstar plans on changing the way gamers think about Downloadable Content (DLC) when they release the new episode titled The Lost and Damned.
In this new episode to the Grand Theft Auto series which is available exclusively to XBox Live customers, you no longer play as Niko Bellic. You now are in control of biker gang member Johnny Klebitz.

This 50-foot Ethernet cable snaking all the way through my apartment from the router in the bedroom to my Xbox 360 in the living room? That's how I used to play videogames online. The Xbox doesn't come with wireless capability built in, and I didn't want to shell out the extra $100 -- a third the price of the console itself -- for Microsoft's wireless adapter.
